Container Gardening

Learn how to design and plant your own beautiful planters with spring and summer flowering plants! In this class Sarah Burton, City of O’Fallon Horticulturist, will teach you the elements of designing a container, choosing appropriate plant material and basic care of your plants after you have created your planter.  Plant material in a small variety of colors and light requirements will be provided so you can choose your plant color pallet. Class attendants need to provide their own container between 18″ and 24″ in diameter. Planter must have appropriate drainage holes in the bottom.  Plant material and soil is included in your class fee.
